Nisarga Krishi is operated by Nisarga Foundation Trust. Registered users may request deletion of their Nisarga Krishi account and associated personal data.
How to request account deletion
You can submit an account deletion request from within the Nisarga Krishi app using the Account Deletion option available in your account.
If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by contacting Nisarga Foundation Trust at nisargafoundationtrust@gmail.com. Please provide the email address of the Google Account used to sign in to your Nisarga Krishi account so that we can identify and process your request.
What happens after a deletion request
After receiving your request, we will verify the account and process the request in accordance with our account deletion and privacy policies. We aim to review deletion requests within 30 days.
Personal information and profile data that are no longer required will be deleted or anonymised. Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, transaction and settlement records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, moderation, enforcement of permanent marketplace role restrictions, or other legitimate record-keeping purposes.
Once account deletion is completed, access to the deleted account cannot be restored. A person may subsequently register again using the same Google Account only in the same marketplace role (Farmer or Buyer) previously associated with that Google Account. To maintain marketplace integrity, prevent misuse and enforce this role restriction, Nisarga Krishi may retain minimal role-reservation information associated with the Google Account even after account deletion. Other retained records will continue to be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
