About Nisarga Foundation Trust
Nisarga Foundation Trust is a charitable organization dedicated to promoting Natural Farming, environmental conservation and support for economically weaker sections of society. The Trust was established with the vision of restoring harmony between nature, agriculture and human health while extending care and assistance to needy individuals, particularly patients suffering from serious illnesses such as cancer.
The Trust believes that sustainable agriculture and healthy living are inseparable. Through awareness programs, farmer outreach initiatives and community engagement, the Trust strives to encourage farming practices that reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides and promote soil health, biodiversity and environmental sustainability.

Our Inspiration
The Trust was founded by Shri Judhistir Behera, former Director (Finance) of THDC India Limited, who hails from an agricultural family in Odisha. Having witnessed Natural Farming practices during his childhood and later observing the increasing dependence on chemical inputs and the resulting impact on soil, water and human health, he established the Trust as a means of giving back to society and promoting a healthier and more sustainable future.

Shri Judhistir Behera
Managing Trustee
Shri Judhistir Behera retired as Director (Finance) from THDC India Limited, a Government of India Mini Ratna Public Sector Enterprise. Born into an agricultural family in Odisha, he witnessed Natural Farming practices during his childhood and later observed the increasing dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides and their impact on soil health, water quality and public health. Motivated by a desire to give back to society, he established Nisarga Foundation Trust to promote Natural Farming, environmental sustainability and support for needy patients.
Smt. Sagarika Behera
Trustee
Smt. Sagarika Behera is a graduate in Arts and has been a constant source of encouragement and support behind the social initiatives undertaken by the Trust. She played a key role in the formation of Nisarga Foundation Trust and remains deeply committed to promoting Natural Farming, environmental awareness and assistance to underprivileged patients, particularly those affected by cancer.
Shri Shyam Sundar Agrawala
Trustee
Shri Shyam Sundar Agrawala is a qualified Cost Accountant with rich professional experience in both cooperative and private sector organizations, including service with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Inspired by a strong commitment to social service, he joined Nisarga Foundation Trust to contribute towards the promotion of Natural Farming and support healthcare initiatives for needy sections of society.
